The village of Pisky has been at the frontline of fighting starting from July 2014. It is under the control of the Ukrainian army but gets shelled regularly from territories of the so-called “Donetsk People’s republic” (DNR) by Russian-backed militants and the regular Russian army. In this video, villagers show destruction from a cluster munition that came in from the Donetsk technical rubber plant under DNR control and exploded near one of the homes of Pisky on November 8, 2014.

I’m Ukrainian and they sound very Ukrainian to me…where are all the Russian speakers in the east.

I agree. I just listened to the video and you can catch them speaking Ukrainian and not Russian.

The younger lady spoke only Russian, the older one switched to Ukrainian when talking to me

what difference does it make what language they speak? The important issue here are terrorists are attacking civilians

“by Russian-backed militants and the regular Russian army.”

Thank you for being honest. kgb apes count on no one knowing the truth and the more people know the truth, the less power they have…and the more free people will want to fight them as those apes of the east invade more countries….

I lived and worked in Donetsk and I was never in a situation where I couldn’t use Russian. I very seldom ever heard Ukrainian spoken. Sometimes in a village and some churches have songs in Ukrainian. But the idea of any language discrimination in Donbass is ridiculous. No locals would ever say that unless they are lying for some predetermined purpose.
