Russian MFA “respects the expression of will of the citizens of the Southeast” in Ukraine

2014/11/02 • War in the Donbas

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated this Sunday evening that it “respects the expression of will of the citizens of the Southeast” of Ukraine.

Moscow thinks that the “elected representatives received a mandate to solve practical issues to renew normal life in the regions.”

The Russian MFA thinks that “it is extremely important to make active steps towards establishing stable dialogue between the central Ukrainian government and the representatives of Donbas in terms of the agreements reached in Minsk.”

‘We are ready to continue constructively encouraging the regulation of the crisis in Ukraine together with our international partners, “ says the statement of the Russian MFA made on November 2 regarding the ‘elections in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts’ that Moscow acknowledges.

Too bad the Russian MFA doesn’t recognize the will of the 58% of ethnic Ukrainians in Donbass, the will of the hundreds of thousands who have fled Donbass to free and democratic Ukraine, the will of the residents of Mariupol and Berdyansk who their army and the terrorists they support have surrounded, the will of the ethnic Tatars and Ukrainians in Donbass or the will of the Ukrainian country to exist as a free and democratic country not under Russia’s boot heel.

How true. My question is, where are these Ukrainian Nazis?

Putin and the separatists look like fools right now. There is no threat to Russians in Ukraine, and the whole World knows it. Putin has egg all over his face.

Too bad he doesn’t respect the expressions of will from the citizens of Siberia. They just get arrested, detained, or disappear. Russia’s MFA is an MFA.

They don’t respect the will of the people unless it’s the will Russia told them to have. Somehow Lavrov seems to think that will expressed at gunpoint is meaningful and legitimate.

Coming from a guy who thinks that spitting on prisoners being paraded around Donetsk does not degrade or humiliate them, I’m not surprised. What a contemptible little man.
