Article by: Vasilisa Yegorova

Yuriy Bereza, commander of the Dnipro-1 volunteer battalion reported that the bodies of about 300 dead Russian soldiers have not yet been buried near the town of Mnohopolie in Donetsk Oblast. He added that the Russians had been killed in combat operations against a joint force of the Dnipro-1 and Donbas battalions.

“A Russian column was destroyed jointly by the Dnipro and Donbas battalions (a commando unit of 40 men operating near Mnohopolie); about 300 Russian soldiers died as the military column went up in flames… they burnt to death. Our intelligence units are still working in the area; we’re searching for our own men. No one has come to take away the dead Russians.” said Bereza. He cannot explain the attitude of Russian troops towards their comrades who died in combat.

“This is something I find difficult to explain.” stated Bereza. The Dnipro-1 battalion has not yet indicated when the actual fighting took place.

It has been previously reported that Russian military units dump the bodies of their dead brothers into Luhansk coal mines.

That’s Stalin era-like inhumanity for you. People get killed by their government which then denies that they even existed.

Soviet history is full of this. For example after Winter War against Finland, Stalin announced that only they lost only a few hundred men in a place called the Raate road. So when Soviet army came to retrieve their dead after the war, they only took a small number of bodies and left the rest – several thousand because they lost almost a whole division – to rot in the forest.

Yup, russia has always used and discarded people. Humans are somewhat of just an annoyance to russia.

  • Dirk Smith

The apathy of the Russian people is incomprehensible throughout their history.

    • Milton Devonair

The biggest killer of russians is russia. And those apes keep looking outside of their penal colony, warily looking for an enemy, not realizing it’s standing right behind them.
      Such a primitive people.

    • Novorrossiya

      Yeah, ask Hitler.

      • Dirk Smith

        You mean Russia’s former ally?

        • Novorrossiya

LOL, you use historic photos to prove your point ¡¡ I’m impressed XD

          • Joni Pelkonen

You actually deny that Soviet Union and Nazi Germany were allies? What kind of history book did you read in school, something printed by Stalins orders probably 😀

          • Novorrossiya

Putin and nazi germany were allies? I repeat: LOL.
Stalin and Roosevelt were allies to ¿and SFW?

          • Dirk Smith

True, without Lend-Lease and Mother Nature, Moscow would be a German suburb. Moscow’s overall military ineptitude and rampant alcoholism cost many Ukrainian lives; as evidenced by MH17. Always amusing to witness third-world sabre-rattling.

          • Joni Pelkonen

… which somehow makes being a Nazi ally acceptable?

          • Novorrossiya

Maybe you should ask Poroshenko that ¡¡

          • Joni Pelkonen

I do not even understand what you mean, but it probably still does not make being a Nazi ally acceptable. Face the facts.

          • Novorrossiya

Your nick sounds Finnish. We talk about Finland and alliances with nazis?

          • Joni Pelkonen

Does *that* somehow make being a Nazi ally acceptable 😀 You are resorting to desperate measures, my Moscow friend 😀

          • Novorrossiya

            test

          • Novorrossiya

Putin is as guilty of allying with the nazis as the actual prime minister of Finland is. Or the Italian one. Or the austrian. Or the Romanian. Or the japanese. Or the hungarian.

          • Dirk Smith

The truth always stings a little, doesn’t it?

          • Novorrossiya

I see, the crimes of russia never expire, but america elects a black president and all is forgiven, including the bombing of Serbia and Irak.

          • Dirk Smith

Nice diversion. Stay on point, katsap. Your fascination with “Nazis” is amusing.

          • Novorrossiya

Your blindness is what is fascinating ¡¡ Watch a Pravy Sektor video and call me back saying they’re “soccer supporters” LOL

          • Dirk Smith

They probably are. They’re also defending their country against invading Russian fascists. After throwing out Putin’s butt-buddy, they’re now fighting (once again) to remove the muscovite cancer out of their country. Ukraine will be Putin’s graveyard.

  • PoeTentiate

how about taking these soldiers bodies and using them as proof of the fact that this is an Imperial Russian occupation! The OCSE just publicly stated that there is no proof of Russian Army participation in the War in Ukraine!!

    • MrTheatrix .

I wonder about this myself. Ukraine needs to do more work in proving that Russia is there and this would be the perfect opportunity.

    • Novorrossiya

Maybe because they don’t exist. Actually you can see lots of videos of ukri soldiers being buried …by the rebels, as their comrades run away.

      • jwz

How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of Putin’s tootsie pop? Because you have to be close by now.

  • Bob

Maybe Ukraine should stop being US/Israel’s tramp and actually think for once about this: Why has the OSCE never come up with any evidence that Russians where there?

Mmmmm…how about the evidence of the MH17? The initial report was not actually pointing to anything remotely toward a missile from the ground. It corroborates what the Germans picked up, it was shot from the AIR!!

Stop being Israel’s tramp and stop fighting America’s proxy war!

    • Rascalndear

Maybe the OSCE should stop being Russia’s bitch? Their spokespersons made wild claims right after the MH17 crash that they had no substantiation for and that were way beyond their remit (these individuals weren’t crash or weapons experts, for starters). Mr. Bociurkiw stated baldly that the damage to the fuselage “looked like machine-gun holes” (!!). Right, at 33,000 feet, someone just did a drive-by shooting. Duh! Those individuals should have been immediately fired for speaking without authorization and speaking about things they knew nothing about, essentially prejudicing the investigation from just about Day 1 (and providing Russia with enough fudge to bake an entire shop’s worth of speculative confections).

    • catonine

So what “big bird” did the pro-russians claim to have shot down via social media — was it a turkey vulture? lol

    • Hektor Uranga

You are terribly wrong. Even the Minister of defense of Russia admitted as fact the findings on the autopsy reports on the passengers of MH17, that proved that the bodies had remains of shrapnel embedded in themselves, consistent of wounds from a land to air missile like the BUK. Denial is over.

      • Novorrossiya

What was the plane doing there anyway? That’s the question that never was asked.

        • Hektor Uranga

Yes, it was already asked by the audio recordings between the separatists that shoot MH17 and their Russian controller. They soon recognized their mistake. Exactly the same words that you used “What was that plane doing there!” .
Answer. It was a free space until then. That same day before the shooting it was used by several international flights.

          • Novorrossiya

So it was a honest mistake, like the americans did in the persian gulf?

          • Novorrossiya

Free space? Americans forbid using that airspace to their airlines months ago

    • Murf

The same OSCE that said there were no Russian troops in UA were standing beside reporters who took pictures of and armored column entering Ukraine. That was when the so called “humanitarian Aid convoy that forgot to bring the Humanitarian aid, but did remember to ship a factory out.
The whole time GARDS could be heard in the background firing form Russian territory.
Then there is the captured Paratroopers just before theshite hit the fan.
Honestly the “No Russians in Ukraine” train left the station a long time ago.
You really should lay off the cool aid “Bob”
