A team of journalists was beaten and their camera smashed in , where they were looking into reports of Russian soldiers killed while on secret deployments near , the broadcaster said Thursday.
The three reporters were working in the southern city of when they were “assaulted by unidentified men in a coordinated attack,” the BBC said in a statement.
“Our staff were badly beaten, their camera destroyed and then taken,” the statement said.

At the beginning of March, the GPO presented written announcements about the suspicion of 76 Crimean deputies in high treason to the Russian Embassy in Kyiv, and also sent it by mail to the illegally formed organ of the "State Parliament of the Republic of Crimea."
