Soldier’s mother receives letter from son’s killers

2014/07/31 • War in the Donbas

This a story of war in the age of social media. A Ukrainian soldier died in June during an ambush by separatists in eastern Ukraine. At the same time, a separatist fighter posted social media messages bragging about the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers caught in an ambush. Days later, the rebels sent the dead soldier’s mother a letter saying they killed her son for invading their land. (RFE/RL’s Ukrainian Service)

These Russian Terrorist keep shocking me over and over again. Just when I think there are no other barbaric things that they could do…they do something else and I sit here just shaking my head. I have no words to describe this travesty. My God these people are not even animals.

    • Robert Glasel

Oh come on. Actually it wasn’t even that bad at all. It’s not like they sent body parts or even actual insults or anything. They just the information and the proof of death, plus some propaganda.

      • Bob

I hope somebody does the same for you when your child dies

        • Robert Glasel

So I’ll get some peace instead of not knowing is he dead or alive after he’s vanished and the government hides it from me? OK.

          • Bob

“oh come on. Actually it wasn’t that bad” I can see you are a real class act! A real people person.

          • Robert Glasel

So, why didn’t the army send her a better letter? Or any letter? Or even a phone call?

          • Milton Devonair

Since the collapse of the russian ussr, Ukraine has been governed by criminals and shysters, mostly in cahoots with putin. This is why after about 8 years of protests, they finally ousted the corrupt govt and will get a new one.

The Ukrainian military was intentionally gutted of equipment and personnel. The govt personnel was also very deficient. The don’t have a lot there and in the process of rebuilding their institutions, their systems, they’ve been invaded by a bunch of russian and chechen apes.

So they’re kinda busy right now on many, many fronts. They would have notified the Soldier’s family and given him a proper burial, but they’re sort of very busy right now. This is a country that’s been neglected and looted….

          • Milton Devonair

Bob, you’re either being trolled by a russian or some internet kiddie.

          • Donald Casavant

He is an Internet Kiddie from Poland, look him up on facebook.

          • Murf

How about if they cut off your Johnson and sent it home to you?
            Would that be bad?
This is a little bit worse.

Hey “skippy”, maybe you need to go back to commenting on video game sites and let the adults talk here. The sad thing is that you need to get out of your mother’s basement, and stop whacking off to Princess Gwenevere & The Jewel Riders…..I guess “Kitana” kept you busy on prom night…

lol, between the video gamer kiddies and the russian primates, hard to keep from laughing at them when reading. russians are the funniest though because they take themselves seriously, just like vp joe bitemen, yet they’re just buffoons in the end….and all along….

    • Milton Devonair

Russia has always been a land inhabited by little more than apes and the more humans are exposed to them, the more humans know that russians should never be trusted. Throughout their history, russia has always been a threat to humans.

  • Jacks Channel

Their land? I would like that person to explain to me how Ukrainian lands belong to Russians. I see what Ukrainians are up against now. How can a person even begin to answer this guy.

    • Milton Devonair

“I see what Ukrainians are up against now”

Look more into the history of russia–wherever russians are, there’s massive rape, looting, murdering, kidnapping, etc. Russia always has been a threat to humans.
The largest historical mistake is for russia to have been left not smoldering in 1945 and humans have paid dearly for it ever since.
And humans to this very day are still paying for the plague called ‘russia’.
This is how Winston Churchill described russia and russians (1918):

“Russia is being rapidly reduced by the Bolsheviks to an animal form of
Barbarism….Civilization is being completely extinguished over gigantic
areas, while the Bolsheviks hop and caper like troops of ferocious
baboons amid the ruins of cities and the corpses of their victims”

      • LorCanada

Yes, the words of Churchill certainly describe the situation at present. Those Russian mercenaries are nothing more than terrorists. I never realized how Russians can sink so low as human beings.

        • Milton Devonair

          Yup.
Also, if you go to other boards, let them know this board exists with a link. I do that a lot as it seems like a lot of dis/misinformation is out there.

  • Milton Devonair

Nice Chechnya terrorist touch. Surprised the russians and chechens took time off from looting and raping long enough to type out a message. Ooops, forgot, they’re russians, so someone else had to write it for them…..

  • Murf

And just when you think Russians can’t sink any lower.

  • TomM60

When I was in the military we gave credit to our enemy for being men. When we held the upper hand we never taunted the enemy because they were soldiers like us following orders and died a man’s death. This kid that is bragging about killing this soldier is no soldier, he has no morals, he has no respect for human life. He has nothing in his head but a sick mind. This just tells me these pro Russians are nothing but gangs of killers no different than what’s running around in Chicago.
