The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has irrefutable evidence that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu is involved in transferring weapons to terrorists in Ukraine as well as co-ordinating the actions of various terrorist sub-units.

This was stated by an advisor to the Minister for Internal Affairs, Anton Herashchenko, during a briefing at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center on July 23.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs has received irrefutable evidence of the direct involvement of the Russian Minister of Defense, Sergey Shoygu, in the transfer of weapons to the DPR and LPR terrorists, including Grad rocket launchers, tanks, artillery, etc,” – he said.

According to the UNIAN News Agency, Herashchenko emphasized that all responsibility for controlling the transfer of weapons and the co-ordination of the actions of various terrorist sub-units is in Shoygu’s hands.

“This has to do with the fact that the previous system of controlling the terrorists in Ukraine was proven to be ineffective.  Previously, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) partly controlled the terrorist groups, whereas the Main Intelligence Directorate of Russia (GRU) controlled the rest.  Recently, a decision was made to place responsibility with Shoygu for all the terrorists in Ukraine, as well as the transfer of the weapons,” he said.

Herashchenko stated that currently information is being checked to determine whether it was in fact Shoygu, who was co-ordinating the transfer of the Buk-1 surface-to-air missiles to the terrorists in order to enable them to shoot down Ukrainian airplanes.

According to Avakov’s advisor, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is going to propose that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and President Petro Poroshenko impose sanctions, including ban to enter Ukraine for the Russian officials and businessmen financing the terrorists and providing them with weapons and ammunition.

“At the top of the sanctions list is the Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoygu.  Moreover, he is involved with transferring weapons to the terrorists as well as making decisions concerning the training of the terrorists.  Currently, we have irrefutable proof of the fact that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is training the tank operators who are shooting at Ukrainian Servicemen,” said Herashchenko.

He remarked that the training of the tank operators is taking place in the Chertkovo and Kamenka villages in Russia.
As previously reported, employees of the Ukrainian law enforcement agency have initiated criminal proceedings against Russian Minister of Defense, Sergey Shoygu. This was stated by the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov.

Please stop saying possibly stupid things. Ukraine must show proof of everything it says otherwise you will be discredited. When making such an accusation he should have said we have some preliminary evidence and here is what it is. I just read an ariticle in the NYT that says Ukraine is lying and bombing civilian areas and says its not doing that. When Ukraine does this they lose credbility. You must not give the media media any lies or they will discredit you in a heartbeat.

I agree, you cant say you have evidence and not follow up with actual evidence.

Sometimes it is difficult to dump all the evidence out because the life of the source(s) could be endangered.

I do agree though that Ukraine which is finding it’s way toward democracy has a good deal to learn about the standards most of the western media apply. He has a built in talent pool in the UKRstream people and the Euromaiden press and I wonder if Poroshenko even knows those people exist and are in place.
