Terrorists execute comrades who wish to surrender

A number of militants (in the Donbas — Ed.) are ready to lay down their arms, but the leaders of the terrorist groups are ruthlessly suppressing these attempts and are executing their subordinates on the spot. This information was shared at a briefing in Kyiv, June 26, by Zorian Shkiriak, adviser to the Minister of the Interior, reported Ukrinform.

“Yes. We have that information. A number of the militants are really ready to lay down their arms,” Shkiriak said in response to a question by a Ukrinform correspondent.

According to Shkiriak, these issues are being handled by the proper authorities.

However, Shkiriak pointed out that the leaders of the terrorist groups are ruthlessly suppressing any attempts to surrender.

“There is also information that the leaders of the terrorist groups are monitoring these things. They are trying to block attempts by those ready to lay down their arms directly on site,” he said.

“As far as I know, there was an instance where the terrorist group commanders executed subordinates who were thinking of laying down their arms,” he said.
